the way she loves to play amongst the green, green grass

her white and brown and oh-so-blue eyes...

she will not be forgotten.

dear spunky's life was taken by an unknown older cat.

i will not forget the moment i heard the news.

i will never forget the sadness i saw in her 15yr-old owners face and body language.

i will not forget the fence she would cross over.

i will never forget the way she bounded along in play, in joy.

in security.

today i was very encouraged to see her owner out and about in his garden with a butterfly net in tow. i am encouraged that he is moving on in life and still appreciating the beauty of nature. i am encouraged that there is still a boy in today's modern world who lives his life to the fullest through his adventures in the insect world, fishing in the drain, saving baby birds.
